You Can Live Debt Free

All Christians know that we have nothing to worry about when we let God manage our finances. Once we truly accept His guidance and experience freedom of worry about money, we will never have a desire to stay outside of God’s will.

For someone in debt it is important to take practical steps of managing finances.

A Christian must stop spending for what is not absolute essential for living. Ask yourself: "Is it a necessity? Does it meet family’s basic needs or is it something that family can go on without?" Or you can find another way to improve your living. For example: you might consider to do services around the home yourself or with your family’s help but without outside cost.

Try to establish a good habit of purchasing goods with cash only. Absolutely stop using credit cards.

And start saving! Even if it is a small amount of $20 a month, soon you will develop a discipline of regular saving. Also, it will help you establish another good habit.

Another good habit would be writing down your income and expenses to compare them. If expenses exceed income then additional steps are necessary.

Speak to other Christians for advice; do not rely on your own resources.

Remember: every Christian must live on what Lord provides us, and He wants us to be responsible to his day-by-day guidance.
